Officials ignored abuse of girl, woman testified.

A young girl was "trapped in hell" by a sexual predator while two complaints to Missouri child welfare officials resulted in nothing, a federal prosecutor told a jury Thursday.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Don Wilkerson made the comments in closing arguments in the trial of a St. Louis woman accused of taking pay to provide a molester with access to her daughter years ago.

Former neighbor Christina Totten testified in U.S. District Court that she had called the Division of Family Services in May 1995 after the girl, then 8, told her about being molested.

I thought this might be relevant to all the posts I have seen concerning parents giving their children to Michael Jackson.

Some parents should be neutered and have any children removed from their presence.

"while two complaints to Missouri child welfare officials resulted in nothing"

Repeat after me: The Governmnt isn't interested in protecting kids. They are in the business of obtaining power, control and saving union jobs. Abolish idiot and useless departments like this and you'll do much more to protect kids and our liberties.

You'd be better off calling the police. They work 24 hours a day, and make house calls.

Since you don't read your F.R. mail according to your "about page" I am addressing you here, though it's off topic.

I had the same experience you did. I had a lot of info about me on my page and of course was attacked relentlessly because of it. There's nothing there now.

I probably should have chosen a gender neutral screen name. Believe it or not there are people here who don't have any respect for the opinions of females.

To the point of your post: In this instance the child welfare official(s) responsible for ignoring the reports should be charged with a crime.

If Totten's complaint was made in 1995, and if it were found to be unsubstantiated, the records relating to it would have been expunged by now, Harrison said.

There was a valid reason for not keeping old reports back in the days of paper but not anymore. They could keep years and years of records on disc and compressed files.

The only reason they could possibly have for destroying them now is to protect themselves - not protect the children.
