Prayers up for Tom and for all of those needing prayer on this thread. I go over each prayer request now and pray for them because I'm afraid I might forget someone when I'm saying my nightly prayers.

Miracles do happen with our loved ones on FR. It's amazing and humbling to see it.

I am not sure if I have posted to this thread before, but I am so happy to see such an outpouring of emotion and prayer for those who desperately need it.

Last week we went and visited our families back in Indiana for the holidays. It was then that I really had this feeling of peace come over me...I have to say that while my life isn't perfect, in so many ways it is. I have been married to a wonderful man for almost nine years who has been an outstanding provider, companion, and father. I have given birth to two beautiful, healthy children and we are being blessed with our 3rd in six months (our little suprise). We have a roof over our heads, my husband has a good job, and we have everything we need. Our 5-year-old is blossoming in her homeschooling lessons, and our toddler is amazing me every day. We have gone through our share of health problems and financial problems this last year, but we always manage to survive stronger and better than we were before. Before I never TRULY believed that God doesn't give us anything that we can't handle, although I always said it. At this moment, I believe it for the first time ever. So even when I am having one of those days when the kids are driving me nuts and everything seems topsy turvy, I take a deep breath and realize that I am so blessed to have those kids to drive me crazy and that if everything always went smoothly, I wouldn't appreciate the good times nearly as much as I do.

I don't need any prayers, but I just wanted to share this with you because it was such a wonderful revelation to me.

Prayers going up for all of you who need them and for the loved ones you have requested them for. God does work in mysterious ways, but it is all for the greater glory.
