I read in the paper this morning that Schwarzanegger had one of his underlings call Grey Davis' appointee as head of the DMV and fire him yesterday

The story goes that the day after Schwarzenegger signed the rollback, Davis' appointee advised the press it would be at least 3 months before the DMV could implement the change.

On Wednesday, a very angry Schwarzenegger ordered the bastard out of the building and sent over his own man by lunch.

A little over twentyfour hours later the changes were implimented.

Swish, boom, bang. Wish SB60 and SB2 could be as easy.
