Wars have always and everywhere in US History caused an erosion of freedom.Especially the war on poverty, the war on illiteracy, the war on drugs, and in future administrations, the war on terror. All done with noble intentions that called for us all to sacrifice freedom and/or property, and all (with the exception of the latest, the war on terror, because it's too new) have failed and in fact, only made things worse.
