The President had a busy day in London today, with a visit with Laura to Westminster Abbey, and a wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior, a meeting at 10 Downing Street with Tony and Cherie Blair, a joint press conference with the two strongest leaders in the world, and a visit to a London school for a Shakespearian production by the children for the First Ladies, and a tour of the Faberge items at the Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace.
There are more than a hundred photos out there today, and even with culling a bit, I will be posting many!
Enjoy your (massive) Daily Dose of Dubya!!

"The next time FR has a turnout, they should just lie and say they are expecting 100,000. Not that we would get any publicity since we are pro-America." Yep...also, when we usedta FReep Slick Willie, we'd sometimes have a coupla thousand or more and wouldn't get any pub whatsoever. In contrast, if you get a few score of folks to rant against Dubyuh, the Vast, LeftWing Medyuh Whore'd's there in droves!!

It is FABULOUS!

They are fabulous aren't they?
I just keep thinking.....WOW, Laura's a sweet girl from Midland, Texas. I'll bet she never DREAMED of what hooking up with that slightly wild young George Bush would bring to her!

Oh, thank you for all the pictures. I was so looking forward to this trip but all I am getting is MICHAEL JACKSON junk on the television!
The press conference will be repeated on C-SPAN2 at 8 PM Eastern, and at 10 PM Eastern on C-SPAN. It is well worth watching. I swear I could have kissed Tony Blair for his absolutely stalwart and eloquent defence of the President and the war in Iraq.

Mystery, I am very proud of your Mike. It would have been good to see him on TV, but that was priceless how he handled the interview request. He's a hero no matter what he did on that one.
Woulda been wonderful to see a picture of the reporterette's face if she heard he said no.

You are my hero for posting all of these! Thank you so very much. Cable new's obsession with all things Jacko when they should be covering the President is irritating me no end!

Thank you for your hard work posting these wonderful pictures. You are appreciated and we are grateful.

I think this is my favorite so far. Those looks on Bush's and Blair's faces have a lot of inside communication going on between one another I think. And the hand-holding chain is wonderful.
I like that plum color in Cherie Blair's dress too. Very nice with her hair shade. And Laura's dress in those more muted tones actually looked nice against the brightness of the red robes the...bishops(?) wore. She looked respectful.
Excellent dose pix, thank you for posting them. Typical overcast day in London it looks like

that hateful reporter I would have had kicked out after that question about why so many people hate President Bush Yes, can you imagine that you are given the opportunity to ask the leaders of the free world one of only six questions that are allowed, and all you can think of is something that incredibly stupid and partisan?

Interesting that you should both mention Michael Jackson.
I couldn't even stand to have the TV on today because the only thing covered on the trip was the 'protest' and every other minute was spent on Jacko. Disgusting!
These are NEWS channels, and they haven't got a CLUE as to what is important! SHeesh!!

They sure are, but it's no surprise. Both the President and the First Lady make a handsome couple. Unlike, you know who

I just thought it was neat that he reached out to shake Tony's hand before he let go of Laura's.
And you're right about her clothing.......suitable for a trip to the Abbey.

I mostly avoided the news today...busy with other things primarily. But I feel a certain satisfaction that Michael Moore's and the other idiot's
glorious protest was up-staged by Jacko!! Bwahahahaha!!
I'll bet that slob Moore was simply seething. As well as all those fools (probably like Soros) who dumped their $$ into funding the protest only to have it over-shadowed.
Unfortunately, it was also over-shadowed by the horrid attacks in Istanbul, and that, I feel no satisfaction in. :^(
