Either way, MJ's career is now on ice. No amount of NAALCP, Jesse Jackson, or Flo Anthony bombast and spin is going to save his hide. If indeed he is found guilty of these charges (and we still have a semblence of a legal system which does state one is innocent until proven guilty...anyway, I digress), he should just face the music-no pun intended-and take his punishment like a man. Frankly, I'm disturbed and sorry that it's actually come to this, since I grew up listening to Michael and his brothers (even saw them in concert back in 1972), and consider him a great talent. But this is something that cannot be condoned or excused.

-Regards, T.

No pun intended there as well, huh? ;-)

BTW me too- I think he has great talent. So does Prince (and he's a weirdo too). I was nuts over Jacko when I was in my early teens.

I bet this makes Tito relieved to have avoided this circus.

Hmm, perhaps Tito will have his day. (if he can get off work )

What makes it especially hard to stomach is the fact that MJ reaches out to help disadvantaged (re: vulnerable) youth and families, who are likely to be wowed by the attention shown to them by a world famous star. It is also easier to discredit claims of questionable behavior put forth by these children and families, or to claim that he was set up, than it would be if these were just normal, healthy, happy, middle class kids.

It is disgusting for MJ to prey on these kids. How selfish and deluded can one person be?
