The thing that amazed me on my many visits to Dallas relating to assassination conferences was the near unanimous opinions of the locals at restaurants, hotels, etc. was that they all, to a MAN, suspected LBJ's involvement.

Texans know him well...and while he never was at the top of my list of suspects, it bears watching to see if any more documentation to come implicates him. Frankly, I doubt it...

All I can say is that the moment I heard Kennedy had been shot, my first thought was LBJ did it! I had even made the comment to my husband when the two were elected that Kennedy better watch his backside, or LBJ'll get him!
