But it was Jamie Masada, who runs a summer camp for under privileged children which the Arvizos attended, who brought the family and Jackson together.

ÒThey were living in a stable with the hay and the horses for a long time,Ó Masada said.

When Gavin was diagnosed with cancer his spleen and one of his kidneys were removed and he was given just two weeks to live. Masada then asked him for a wish list of celebrities that he'd most like to meet.

Although Jackson came third onÊtheÊlist,ÊafterÊcomedians Adam Sandler and Chris Tucker, Masada contacted Quincy Jones who spoke to the singer and arranged a two-day visit for the family to the Neverland ranch.

The Arvizos now live in a comfortable flat and own a car paid for by Jackson and Gavin refersÊtoÊtheÊsingerÊasÊhis father, telling his mother: ÒI am living for my daddy, Michael.Ó

I'm still in a state of SHOCK! Up until now the Michael Jackson scandal story was just another news story (although a shocking one). But now a good friend of mine is named in it at least peripherally---Jamie Masada. He was a good buddy of mine back when I lived in La-La Land. And I don't mean he was just an acquaintaince. I spoke to him almost daily for years back there. If this is the same Jamie Masada (and it sounds like it is) he runs the Laugh Factory comedy club. He didn't run a camp for under priveleged children when I was there but this definitely does sound like him since he also sponsored special Thanksgiving dinners at his club for folks with nowhere to go on Thanksgiving. Jamie was a very generous type of person and was also something of a genious in that he started the Laugh Factory from scratch and built it up to what it is today.

Anyway, I am still in a state of shock over this story since it involves a good friend. Let me read more on this but I definitely can vouch bigtime for Jamie's character.

I am not in shock, and don't know anyone who knows Michael, but I have had some experience with the Hollywood Elite prior to Michael becoming a white very sick entertainer.

I am a hard nosed pragmatist. Quick to Judge,love,give and not afraid of life's knocks. I see Michael as a stunted
a-sexual perennial child. A warped personality who never had a childhood, and is in search of his youth. I wouldn't let my youngster hang out in his bed, but who are these parents that did do that. Did they do it because Michael will give them money, gifts, kids don'r really mean anything to them. Just a way to get wealth, a fun way of life? Or, is Michael really a Peter Pan very short on common sense? Does he just want to play with and hang out with kids because emotionally he is one of them, or does he want to abuse them?

I personally don't think he is an abuser, just nutsy, paranoid,terminally immature and needing a lot of enforced rest and therapy.I do think the parents of any child left overnight with Michael are more than suspect. Set their Kids up for the big $$$ kill. I think so. Talk about scum! Who is guilty of child abuse here?
