The POS writer is banking on no one who reads the article actually saw the ceremony live.

I did, and it wasn't "large cards" but it was a set of index cards (his usual notes)

The writer is trying to use the usual ad hominem attacks.

Thanks for the email address, here's my freep:

Mr. Lindlaw;

I am surprised the editors at The Associated Press allowed your article to make the wires.

Beefeaters slam?

Bush recognizing "table toppers" like glassware slam?

Reading from "large cards" slam?

If you ever want to be a successful "journalist" you need to hide your bias a bit better. You don't want readers to think you're a whining, leftwing, Bush-hater. Or do you?

It's pathetic what passes for "journalism" these days.

My son uses the 3x5 index cards, and the ones in the picture look like they're 5x7. Maybe to some they are considered "large". It's not worth getting upset about.

I thought I read he was a Wild Turkey man back when he was still drinking?

This is the worst AP article I've ever read as to the bias angle agains a conservative. And that is saying something.

" The only way the author of the article knows is because his "longtime companion" is an interior decorator"

He's probably acting out, because there will be no more trips to Neverland to play with Michael.

I can't think of any circumstances under which any serious man would have much excuse to buy that kind of monkey suit.

The Oaf who wrote this article also is lacking in sartorial knowledge. White Tie & Tails is not a tuxedo. Those are two entirely different suits of ward robe.
I will say that when I saw President Bush resplendent in his White Tie & Tails he reminded me of Actor William Powell, he wore them beautifully!!!!!

He did have something in his hands, and big deal, they usually have teleprompters as this journalist well knows. Just anything to make him look silly. Thing is, Queen Elizabeth is actually down home herself, so she most likely enjoyed his company, and he rocked today!

Good Grief. This moron writer forgets that Pres. Bush had a father who was president....which should probably bring to mind that maybe GW has been to a WH dinner a time or 2 before he became president?

President Bush has been to many a state dinner. Once when the Queen was over here at a state dinner during the elder Bush's term, he was making small talk with her.

GWB said to the Queen....I'm the black sheep in my family...who is the one in yours? She laughed and said that she would never tell.

BTW, this president was the first to be personally asked to visit and stay in the palace, verses being invited by the government...since 1918. I think the Queen likes this little black sheep.
