The bullet only hit one bone by the time it left Connelly's chest. It keyholed and that's why the rear of it was flattened. Compare that picture with the wounds on both individuals.

But then it's supposed to hit a rib and then a wristbone and land in a thigh. Lots of stuff for it to go through and wind up looking like a test bullet. I can't buy it.
