You also didn't look out the sniper's nest. The glassed in area has been like that before the museum opened. Absolutely, positively no visitor is permitted at the window area.
Sorry.

Well then we were in the twilight zone. We did look out a window that was open for viewing, it did have a rope in front of it, with boxes under the the window sill. But you could clearly see out the window. The rope was less than two feet from the window and did not obstruct the view at all. That I know for sure.

BTW ahve you been there yourself? That was one of my questions earlier... I still haven't gotten an answer to that. Has anyone else been there? That would help a great deal, to actually have been there for ones self.

I've been to the museum a couple of times. I've been to Dealy Plaza numerous times. Enough to post pictures. I live here and I'll be there tomorrow.
I even had my first Free Republic rally at Big Red so we took a little walk to the Plaza. Someone asked if I was a Freeper and I didn't know what she was talking about.
I guess the glass was put in later. I was told it was there from the beginning. Thank you for sharing. The glass is now completely around the window.

Okay ,no problem. I was there almost ten years , and exactly two kids ago, now.. see why my memory fails me at times and I need my hubby to help me. I am getting OLD. I know we steped over that rope and put our nose right up to the glass. I guess they are preserving my nose print for generations, huh. I couldn't find the link to the window on that site. I will have to go back and look.

Sorry, Joe...
Curly did it. He did have two unwitting accomplices, though... ;-)

http://www.earthcam.com/jfk/ Read the directions and it will let you look out the window at various angles.
I'll look for your nose print next time I'm there. LOL

Sorry, but I don't subscribe to those theories.I don't really either, but you have to admit, the investigation and the handling of the whole ordeal was such a mess that darned near anything is possible.

Here is the Warren Commission Exhibit 734: a photo of the boxes Oswald set up to make a bench to rest his rifle on. He did not have to be hanging out the window. He had a very stable platform from which to shoot.

Have you been to the actual site? Are you disputing something that is visible in the photo taken of Oswald's "sniper's nest" -- a photo that was taken in the afternoon of November 22nd, 1963? A photo that can remember the difference between left and right.

Here is a view through an identical scope of the view that Oswald had. It was made during a re-enactment with the convertable in the same location as was Kennedy's limo (about 80 yards away). The photo was taken from the 6th floor window. Why do you think Oswald would have had any difficulty with this shot?

If you have been following my posts so closley you would see that, yes, I am saying that was not my experience . I made a mistake about the direction, so what I admitted to that. I had someone, with a more reliable memory, who was with me at the time verify the rest of the story, that the angle seemed strange, and at the same time correct me on the direction.. and that has never happened to you?
As I have already posted, both my husband and I had a strange feeling about the angle at which someone would have to be in order to make that shot.
What does that mean.. I do not know. There is something strange about the site at the window, which I stood at myself ,and look out of, as well as the grassy knoll area, which I walked all around. Why is it so strange... I do not know.. soemthing is not right, what.. I do not know.
If you have not been to the site yourself how can you be disputing my experience? Get all of the phots you want. I had a personal experience there. You do not have to believe me if you don't want to.
Your photo proves nothing to me that my own eyes did not see, and that my husband verifies did happen. You can not even see the street from that photo. I am not an expert on this topic, I am just telling you about my experience. If you have some problem with that , suck it up. If you don't believe me, so what. Here is a news flash ....a photo can be staged.
Go to the Dealy Plaza yourself, lookout the window.. walk around the building. Then let's discuss the visibility of your photos susposdely taken one afternoon 40 years ago .

You are taking the typical approach of the conspiracy theorists. It is a religion to you. You do not want to accept facts. You only had a weird feeling while standing in the spot from where JFK was assassinated. No fact will change your opinion. When a fact is given -- such as a photo taken AT THE TIME you dismiss it as "supposedly" taken then and as a "staged" photo.
You claim I can no nothing because I haven't been there. But, you know what? I haven't been to Paris either. But I am convinced that the Eiffel Tower is still standing there. Some things we have to accept in spite of not being there. Have you talked with President Bush in the last 24 hours? How do you KNOW that he has not been replaced with a space alien? Do you accept the existance of anything that you have not personally verified??
I can't argue with "feelings" -- but feelings aren't facts. The fact is that JFK was assassinated by Oswald even if you have "feelings" otherwise. You can't convince me someone else was involved by quoting feelings. I can't convince you with facts. So we will have to leave it at that.
PS: Why is it that all the evidence that Oswald acted alone is a fake, disinformation, a lie, or is staged. But you accept everything and everyone who claims a conspiracy as little white angels who only tell the full truth and everything thay point to is fact and not made up?

So why does his head snap back hard on the last shot?
Wouldn't the momentum of the bullet carry his head forward?
My uncle and my high school shop teacher were both shot by foreign enemies and survived. Both said the impact threw them in the direction of the shot and that the impact felt like they had been hit by a major league slugger with a big bat.

When they put those little sticks in the wounds and then sight along those sticks, you pretty well know where the bullet came from.
