He shouldnt go bringing up God and the Massachussets Supreme Court in the same sentence. They have nothing to do with each other.

No government creates marraige, they merely provide a simple way to record them, nothing more.
Government can no more redefine marraige than they can outlaw the sky.
This Court is an shame and an embarrasment to our nation, and provides potent ammunition to our adversaries who believe us to be a corrupt nation of pansies and crybabies.

In an unrelated note, Senator Ted Kennedy proposed to a bottle of Jack Daniels and Jim Beam in the same night.

JESUS DEFINES MARRIAGE: "And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore, they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder." -from THE BIBLE: Matthew 19:4-6

Yes, let's bring back the full regime of Old Testament laws, complete with the stonings of adulterers, disobedient children, and witches, the "uncleaness" of women during their menstrual period, the exile of the diseased, the execution of "blasphemers", the forcing of women to marry their rapists, the condoning of slavery, etc, etc.
Society was so much better when "God's law" was enforced.
