According to timeline Felos became involved in 97. He was Chairman of the Board of Directors up to a certain time in 97. I'm am not sure when he stepped down from that position though.

The spirit and the law

After the Browning case, Felos became a volunteer for the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, sitting and talking with terminally ill patients. On his living room shelf sits a book for hospice training, Dying Well, by Ira Byock.

In recent years he has been writing a book of his own: Litigation as Spiritual Practice. In 320 pages, to be released this fall by Blue Dolphin Publishing, Felos contends that his belief in God is what drives him.

ACTION ALERT!!!

December 3rd is Terri's BIRTHDAY!

From another Terri thread:

You can send a card or a note to us at the foundation. We will deliver them all to Terri.

If you've placed a light in your window for Terri, please send us a picture.

Terri adores animals. If you have a picture of your favorite pet, feel free to send it along! Terri enjoys music. Piano music, John Denver, Journey and Wham! are just some of her favorites. Since she has a CD player in her room, a CD would make a great birthday gift.

Terri enjoys lotions and nice-smelling things for her skin.

Would you like to send a personal message to Terri? Tape record your own message and we'll play it for her! So many people have already sent a prayer to Terri on our Share a Prayer page. We read these to her as often as we can. Be sure to include yours.

Terri's husband does not permit her to receive physical therapy, but "stress balls" are great for relieving the contractures in her hands.

Prayer is also a good gift, please remember Terri in your prayers

[ So-OK FOLKS, now is the time to get that Birthday Card to Terri via the foundation address below. I am also making a tape recording today! Thrilled that they will play it for Terri! If ya want to do something to let the Schindler family know you are 'there', praying, emailing, calling and working to help them free their beloved daughter from the clutches of MS and Felos...now is the time to get your gift, cards, recording, CD's -yes Terri DOES have a CD player in her room! HURRAH! And she loves John Denver and WHAM and hey, perhaps even something new in a CD performer of your choice that might give her some joy!]
