President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush departed from the White House today for a four day visit to the United Kingdom, America's staunchest ally in the war in Iraq.
I will check after work for any additional photos that might be released later today and add any that I find.
Enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!

QUOTE OF THE DAY:Not long after September 11th, one high-ranking al Qaeda official said, "This is the beginning of the end for America." It's pretty clear that terrorist didn't know what he was talking about. It's pretty clear the terrorists who attacked us did not understand the fundamental strength and resilience of our country. And they, clearly, did not understand the determination of our President. (Vice-President Dick Cheney at a fund raising dinner.)

Me too. I am keeping a watch on our weather--under a tornado watch and flood watch today.

How wonderful to see the First Couple walking with their arms around each other.......sigh.......
I just heard that this is the first State visit the Queen has ever had for a US President. Very cool!
Pray for their safety, everyone!

Hope your weather improves. It's been raining here so much that I'm beginning to feel like a duck! Also I found out that our roof is leaking so my husband drilled holes in our dining room ceiling to let the water out so it wouldn't ruin the walls! Thank God he's a carpenter and can fix anything!

I always worry when our president leaves the country. I LOVE all the extra photos we get to enjoy while he's gone, but I won't breathe easily until he returns safely home.

I agree. It doesn't help when the media gives the protestors so much attention. It seems that they are almost encouraging them to be violent.
The hatred by the extreme left of our President has gone beyond politics and it is very worrisome. We must Pray A Lot for his safety.
