I am sending you so many heartfelt prayers. My college roommate had the disorder you're speaking of and she was simply an amazing person. An inspiration. I wish you could meet her because her strength alone would give you such peace of mind but regardless, know that you are not alone and that you and your families are in my prayers that he makes a full recovery.

Don't give up hope. I was legally blind for many years until I had my sight restored via surgery.
Could you tell us his first name? It helps me to pray for somebody by name. Thanks.

I will certainly keep your son and all of you in my prayers.
BTW - I was diagnosed with glaucoma about 4 years ago (however - I am 46) - they started me on the daily eyedrops immediately. Prior to that - I was told at my regular 6-month check-ups that I had slightly elevated pressures.
Again - I will remember all of you in prayer.
