Does a trial and lengthy prison sentence for corruption count as part of his "public career"? Cause if it does, it's not safe to call his career over quite yet.

He never arrived at LAX. I understand he boarded a private Mexican charter jet at Sacramento Airport, and was taken to an undisclosed area in Mexico.

After destroying the state economy and spending $60 million last year to ruin the good name of a decent man, no one should pause for a second to worry about this jerk. He deserves all the humiliation he is feeling, and then some.

"Davis, 60, facing the Pacific and dressed in somber black alongside his wife.... Was this guy even there? Does our fearless reporter even know anything about California? Sacramento is at least 50 -60 miles from the Pacific Ocean.
I dunno, maybe Davis was 'facing the Pacific' in a metaphorical sense...

A few days after the recall, Letterman had Doofus do the Top Ten list. Advice to Arnie. It was a bunch of BS.

Hmmm....No mention of a state supplied security detail for an udetermined time period? No mention of a driver and state Crown Victoria? No mention of appointments to university regency posts? No mention of state provided healthcare for Davis and his family? No mention of a state pension?
How little on subsatnce a written departure piece can be?
