[history]
NOGALES, Ariz. (AP) - A mock suicide bomber and a quick succession of blasts were part of a terrorism drill designed to test the responsiveness of health and law enforcement officials along the U.S.-Mexico border. The Arizona Office of Homeland Security said about 1,000 people took part in the drill Sunday morning, which started when a man walked into the Mariposa Port of Entry compound, shouted the name of a mythical terrorist group and set off an explosion. The man was actually a firefighter in a protective suit.

which started when a man walked into the Mariposa Port of Entry compound, shouted the name of a mythical terrorist group and set off an explosion It's good to hear that they are doing SOMTHING on the border, but I find it unlikley that a terrorest group would waste a bomer on a Port of entry, there just is not anything there except a lot of their own people.
file that under "nice try" and work on the target selection.

OK; here goes: My sister's boyfriend was involved in the filming (his production company), so she went with him and was wearing a film crew T-shirt.
An hour after the "terrorist" blew up his car, a Mexican policeman approached my sister and asked where the Mexican police were supposed to be.
They were there ONE HOUR LATE!!
My sister had to swallow her laughter, thinking "Manana" is still the MO even during a terrorism attack.

Was JB still in the hospital when this was going on? Cause we had a "Code Orange which didn't affect patients but it was announced overhead, and EVERY employee not working had to be called.

It's possible...he was due to come home yesterday, but I haven't heard when he was actually released.
So, could be...!
