That line is always funny. Especially since I know someone who is very conservative, but is a registered Democrat. Not because she votes that way. It's so she is guaranteed to get the literature from the Democrat candidates and can see their slant. Meanwhile, her husband is registered as a Republican.
Think these "I am a registed Republican, BUT..." people might be doing the same thing? Or they just want to appear more enlightened than they are?

Can someone tell me more about Marty? I don't get to hear all of Hannity, but have often heard Marty during the last segment. I always love when he gets through. He sounds like a sweet grandpa type, who has lived through enough to know what he's talking about. I have often wondered who he is. Just so you don't think I'm just really dense, Phoenix only put the full Hannity show on during the right hours in the last few months.
