For years the pro-choice crowd defended partial-birth abortion as an absolute last resort, certainly not a decision any woman or her doctor would take lightly.
But at least one practitioner of the grisly procedure discussed the topic recently in almost matter-of-fact tones and dared Attorney General John Ashcroft to prosecute him under the new law banning the operation.
NewsMax.com's Fr. Mike Reilly reports that Dr. Warren Hern described a partial-birth abortion he performed for MSN.com readers on Oct. 22, 2003.
"Earlier this year, I began an abortion on a young woman who was 17 weeks pregnant," recalled Hern.

There is nothing more disgusting than killing a healthy unborn child for no reason, and then trying to incite government officials! This doctor gives the gruesome details of this abortion in this article. This doctor should be prosecuted...he has no right to protest a law by making an example out of an unborn child!

"Then I inserted my forceps into the uterus and applied them to the head of the fetus, which was still alive, since fetal injection is not done at that stage of pregnancy. I closed the forceps, crushing the skull of the fetus, and withdrew the forceps." The baby, now dead, "slid out more or less intact," Hern noted. "With the next pass of the forceps, I grasped the placenta, and it came out in one piece. Within a few seconds, I had completed my routine exploration of the uterus and sharp curettage."
This "doctor" describes this abortion with the same detached indifference that one might use to describe changing the oil in their car. He could be one of the best people to represent the horror of PBA, simply because he sees nothing horrible about it ... the average person would read his un-emotional account and be horrified by it.

This doctor should be prosecuted And he should be locked up pending his trial. May I suggest Eric Rudolph as a cell mate?

If the Justice Dept had balls the would do the following:
Arrest the butcher on the grounds that Citizenship is gained at birth. The position should be taken that a citizen, whether invoked into citizenship via pre-term delivery (dead or alive) is protected under the Constitution.
Since it's a citizenship issue, it's a federal issue and not a state issue.
It's the perfect weapon which has not been used yet cause we have pussies up at the Justice Department who won't stand up to the courts and tell them to shove it. (The SC has no bearing on this citizenship issue, and if Mr. Bush had a pair he'd direct the Executive branch to disregard ANY ruling from the SC.)

So, which would be the more appalling, soul-withering experience?
To be forced to watch this doctor perform this sub-barbaric "procedure" on a baby?
Or to be forced to see, as God sees, what his soul and heart must look like, to allow him to perform such monstrosities and sleep at night?

SORRY, HASTY POST. Corrected version:
If the Justice Dept had balls the would do the following:
Arrest the butcher on the grounds that Citizenship is gained at birth. The position should be taken that a citizen, whether invoked into citizenship via pre-term delivery (dead or alive) or natural birth, is protected during and after birth under the Constitution.
Bush had a pair he'd direct the Executive branch to disregard ANY ruling from the SC which does not affirm the rights of citizenship which are granted at/during birth.)

healthy unborn child From the article: "Then I inserted my forceps into the uterus and applied them to the head of the fetus, which was still alive, since fetal injection is not done at that stage of pregnancy. Even the butcher knows it is a baby, why is it that so many pro-lifers insit on calling the baby in the womb and unborn baby. Unborn sounds..., but, baby in the womb, now that is a real live discription of the baby that is in the womb waiting to come out.

A lot of people who been party to an abortion, still want to consider themselves "nice people"
The idea of calling a preborn child just that and having participated in the brutal killing of it
means that maybe they arent quite as nice as they try to convince themselves of...
Its much more reasurring to call the pre born baby or baby in the womb a fetus or the product of conception (POC)
A glob of tissue...or as one young lady I knew ( a high school English teacher) once said a parasite growing on "her" body..needing to be removed...
Much easier to let 'human law' determine right and wrong ...this law is flexible and todays evil is tomorrows good..
God's laws are immutable and there is no escaping His charge..
Once human law completley usurps God's( according to human history) God generally decides its time for a change..this is usually most drastic in nations that once had a covenant relationship with Him and overtly and continously broke their end of it..
