Where have you read about a witness specifically mentioning tan pants? I'm not doubting you, I just want to know. I don't keep track of this case as closely as yall.

You are right. Even after reading it several times I confused the statement of the first witness and the Detective's statement about the pants. I thought that I had heard a report that the woman who saw the lady with the two men say that she was in tan pants.

I need to get my comprehension skills checked.

Below is the testimony concerning Diana Campos, the nurse who saw a dogwalker and friends at 10:45am. She gave no color on the pants but the looked like sweat pants. Is that what designer maternity pants are supposed to look like?

11 Q. Okay. And she said that she thought that that was
12 on Thursday; is that right?
13 A. Correct.
14 Q. And she said to herself, "I know that girl," and
15 she then realized that that was the same subject she saw
16 walking through the park; isn't that correct?
17 A. Yes.
18 Q. She said she was sure, otherwise, she would not
19 have called the police; isn't that correct?
20 A. That's what she said.
21 Q. Okay. Now, you -- she even further described the
22 female as having hair that was short, down to about the
23 shoulders, dark in color; is that correct?
24 A. Yes.
25 Q. She said the hair was straight and that the female
26 looked six to seven months pregnant; is that correct?
27 A. Yes.
28 Q. She said she was wearing a white top and what
1311
1 appeared to be sweat pants, but she didn't know what color;
2 is that correct?
3 A. Yes.

The hospital worker is not credible, period.

Unless, of course, the kidnappers took her home and had her change her clothes, from black jogging pants to tan pants with a zipper.
