I knew what she wore the last time her sister saw her alive was going to play a huge part in this trial.
Laci was found wearing the same maternity pants as she wore to her sister's hair salon. HA! He killed that evening, before she had a chance to undress and ready herself for bed.

Prosecutors and defense attorneys are not allowed to discuss evidence with the media because of a gag order. There have been lots of gags associated with this case.

I'm wondering...do you think it's possible that Scott himself saw a pregnant woman dressed in black and white walking a dog on the morning of the 24th, and deliberately described Laci's clothes that way so that others who saw the other pregnant woman would think they had seen Laci?

"Up to now, it's always been believed she'd be damaging to the defense, but maybe Geragos has something on her - he was clearly upset when the prosecution said they weren't going to be calling her," said Fox News Channel legal editor Stan Goldman, a law professor at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. It does look like weakness on the prosecution's part not to call his former girl friend. From all the leaked "news" about their numerous taped phone calls, one might have thought those calls and her testimony would be a key element in the prosecution's case.
And that "one hair" thing is troublesome. Granted that the one hair supposedly came from a pair of pliers, still, having lived with a spouse and then our kids, for years, one hair of any of our heads could turn up in anyplace. Laci allegedly didn't know about the boat, and the pliers were in the boat, so that's not good for him, but one hair is the prosecution's great proof?

It is very much possible the snott had a standing tee time for the same time each week. My husband does. The important clue is that he didn't cancel.....he must have been too busy covering his ass.

The crucial question here seems to be whether she was wearing tan pants or black pants when she was killed. It's worth remembering that at the time she was more than eight months pregnant... which means that she couldn't fit into her usual clothes and probably had bought special maternity clothes that she could get into. If she was like a lot of very pregnant women, that meant that she had only two or three pairs of slacks that she could wear in her shape (most women don't invest a whole lot for maternity clothes since they can only wear them for a month or two). Very probably she had ONLY the tan and the black to choose from, and might have switched from one to other at least once during a day.

. Laci allegedly didn't know about the boat, and the pliers were in the boat, so that's not good for him, but one hair is the prosecution's great proof? The boat may have been new but were the pliers?
Was the hair just sitting there or wrapped entangled in the pliers?
Was it a broken hair or was the root attached?
These questions about the hair will tell the tale.

The woman, an employee at the Stanislaus County Hospital, told police she saw a woman who resembled Laci Peterson walking a barking golden retriever in the park near the Peterson home at around 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 24. The tipster reported that two men walking near the woman told her to shut the dog up. On Thursday, Karen Servas, who lived near the couple, testified that she found Laci Peterson's golden retriever wandering in the street at "approximately 10:18 a.m." The problem is that the witness saw someone who she thought was Laci in the tan pants after Scott left for the Marina.

Was it a broken hair or was the root attached? From what I read, there was no root on the hair.
