That's a good question. How would I find that out?

They probably have to tell you if you call the station, Miss Angel.

Thank you. Is this something that comes up for annual renewal? If so, if I register a complaint to the FCC, would it be taken into considration in the renewal process?
(Aren't you sorry you answered me? LOL!)

Very good letter dansy. That is just appalling. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I will forward it to my friends in Georgia.

Does WSB run pro-abortion ads, from NARAL/GARAL or some such? I don't watch them enough to know.
If they don't, I don't think I can be on them for not running GRTL ads.

I've seen one pro-life ad which is *very good*
A youngish looking blonde woman in a firefighter uniform talks about her own mothers decision to have her, and says, now that she's grown to be a firefighter, that "her decision has saved more than one life"
I don't know who produced or sponsores it (can a fellow freeper help here?), but it's so good, I think it should be in heavy rotation in every market.

I can't recall with absolute certainty which, if any, pro-choice ads they run. We watch WSB-TV (but no longer) for about 90 minutes each weekday morning while getting ready for work, in which they have definitely angered me for their anti-Bush slant. I also know that I have seen pro-choice ads - but it's not clear if they were shown definitely on Channel 2.
I'm willing to watch one more week to note any pro-choice ads with certainty. Then, I'll report back.

I'm never sorry to chat with you, Miss Angel! I believe the licences are up for renewal every 5 or 10 years, I don't think it's annually, but I'm not an expert, sorry. When you call the station, don't tell them you intend to make a complaint, just ask when the renewal comes. Your complaint to the FCC should state specifically it's in connection with their renewal, I'm pretty sure it would be taken into consideration then. It may help that you call the FCC and ask how you go about making such a complaint.
However, I must now prepare a large breakfast to counteract the slightly deleterious effects of having consumed a large martini and copious amounts of wine and no food at my sister's 50 birthday party last night. See you!

As I said, I absolutely agree with showing both sides. The FOX affiliate does and I have no quarrel with that.

Great report and excellent letter, dansy. Glad that the church informed the congregation that WSB-TV2 will not air the Pro-Life Advertisement. I have relatives in Georgia, will get the word out. Have a great day. I am going to borrow a quote of yours:
"You ***ROCK***" dansy :-)

Sounds like it's time for a GA Freep and a boycot of a Leftist TV station.
