The earth was created millions, maybe billions of years (take your pick) before. It "became" void and without form (bohu and tohu) and was "re-created" for man in six days.

We don't have a cogent description of the Gap Theory yet, if you want to take the time.

No, "everything" was created without form.

Only after everything was created was THEN (later) the earth formed out of what was already present.... After light.

(We're merely innocently discussing/arguing how much later "later" really was, as we measure time today....)
