No, "everything" was created without form.

Only after everything was created was THEN (later) the earth formed out of what was already present.... After light.

(We're merely innocently discussing/arguing how much later "later" really was, as we measure time today....)

Similarly, I always thought "the earth was without form, and void;" indicated it was entirely covered with water and had no mountains or dry land. If the earth was completely covered with water it would be without form, and void.

Gen 1:1-10
