College must be harder than ever these days--in more ways than one. Look at this guy as an education. He's teaching you how really lame liberals are, and you're gaining by getting to know the "enemy".

Have tried to confuse him with his own words? It sounds like it would be very simple in this case.

*Grin* This guy sounds like MY liberal toys.
Keep fighting the good fight! You have mail,
by the way.

I need some of whatever you are taking that allows you to keep your mouth shut. Will be attending a rare family reunion over Thanksgiving and one of my brother-in-laws is a liberal Bush-hater.
Unfortunately, the sister who is hosting this horde has forbidden me to engage our brother-in-law in political debates. She says he gets really, really mad and goes into tirades -- (I have to confess that I was looking forward to watching him implode - LOL)
So how do you manage to keep silent?

It would be interisting to use your wit and insight to describe the reactions that the others in your student group react to his constant incoherent monologue.

I doubt this boy will ever get out of school, much less run for public office. He'll probably be one of those perpetual students, he and his views safe in the coccoon of academia, where people actually pretend to give a sh** what he has to say.
I wonder who is paying for his tuition, room and board, and his upcoming trip to Cuba?

Shouldn't be too shocking, coming from the guy who says, "Bill Clinton was basically a Republican." Only if you're a Leninist.
Libertarian-Leninism and Paleo-Leninism. We see that often enough around here.

Poor guy, he just wants Dubya to feel his pain.
Tell him that he doesn't have to come back from Cuba, that he can stay there in paradise if he wants to.

I am like your room mate in reverse. I cannot not talk about politics and I will challenge anyone who even sends me a political joke that is pro Dem.
If I had to room with this guy I'd counter every one of his comments and force logic into his brain. The antics of Clinton and Ted Kennedy are enough to shut down any debate I get in with a liberal. I also love to discuss religion with people.
It's to the point where I can't even respect someone who says they vote Democratic.
I am extreme.

Not to worry. In time your classmate will either grow up, OD, get incarcerated or become a public school teacher. (maybe you should worry about the last one.)

You are good to hold your tounge.
I try to do the same thing with my customers. I try not to mix politics and business. I am never sure which way someone swings.
But, last week on a business trip one particular customer kept ranting about "Bushie". He finally ranted about the death tax giving big business so many breaks.
I finally shot back about my mother owning a business and it would help us out if she passed away.
He stopped and said he never thought about it that way. Since we were traveling through Mississippi, I also threw in that it would help farmers and land owners. I said all these "rich people" are the ones that make the jobs were we work.
I made my point tactfully and made him think.
And, thank goodness he still is my customer. I usually get my rants out here!

My son is a jr. in High School and has entire classrooms full of the liberal egotists as this article describes. In one classroom he was the only person who supported Bush and the action in Iraq.
The stance these kids take against Bush is like reading a thread at DU....complete bias built on lies and desception that is accepted as being the truth.
