They should know better than to try and stop Kobe on his way to a game.
Seriously, I hope the officers are going to recover.

Vehicle had three handguns and AR-15 left inside. This must be a mistake, we all know that California has strict control of all "assault weapons". Maybe this happened in Vermont or Texas, where the only restrictions are the federal ones?

And this is "Breaking News"??
I've had my ass flamed for posting American casualties in Iraq of our men and women in "Breaking News" as of late.
Some say "this is war, what do you expect".
These are "cops"...what do they expect???

there will be coverage...they had to get Burbank Tower to order the news helos up higher

I think you're probably getting flamed because of the sins of our dominant media. Tom and Dan and Peter report latest casualties in Iraq not because it is breaking news, but because they wish to harm the efforts and morale of our military folks over there. Some of us resent that tactic, seeing it for what it is, and that carries over to similar postings here. Don't be discouraged.

Let's see. The most popular stolen vehicle. This statistic is attributed, by law enforcement, to the fact that it's the vehicle of choice of NBAers and rappers. Geez I wonder who the perps might be?
To: BurbankKarl
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully, theyll recover.
San Diego Police Officer and former San Diego Padres catcher Dan Walters
was shot late last week by a suspect who was then shot and killed by police.
Fortunately, hes on his way to recovery.
