Marine threat DC?

It is alleged by someone who claims they heard it on a local Washington DC radio channel that some female managed to steal a food truck, drive it up to the gates of Henderson Hall (the Marine base) in Arlington VA, then had a three-hour standoff with the Marines before surrendering. However, I have not been able to find any proof that such an incident occured.
Was someone indeed hallucinating?

ARLINGTON, Va. -- A woman was in police custody Saturday for allegedly stealing a food delivery truck and driving it into a military compound.
Arlington police said a deliveryman reported a woman took his truck at gunpoint at about 2 a.m.
Police spokesman Matt Martin said she allegedly crashed though the gate of Henderson Hall, a Marine compound next to Fort Myer. Authorities surrounded the truck and tried to get her to surrender for almost three hours before arresting her by force.
No gun was immediately found. Martin said the woman didn't intend to break into the military compound.
Police said the woman would face charges.

I was just next door in Alexandria, VA in the service waiting room at a Toyota dealership and remember seeing mention made on CNN of some kind of food-truckjacking, but I wasn't paying close attention.
I had no idea that it was so close by!

IMHO...why is this person still breathing? If the truck didn't blow up right away, they probably figured it was harmless. No point in killing a kook, which is what I would guess this woman is. A few years in the jug for armed robbery should suffice.
