I'd be shocked .....shocked I tell you .....if it turns out that Bonds has been using steroids. (Or, in the langauge of athletes, "nutrional supplements"). I mean, don't all ballplayers peak in their late 30's? Don't they all have heads the size of beachballs? Don't they all put on 50 lbs of pure muscle in two short years?

If Bonds is busted on this, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.
Of course under the incredibly weak MLB rules just put into effect, he would receive nothing but the mildest of taps in the general area of his wrist.

Let's be clear here. Bonds wasn't associated with this guy until AFTER he had his record setting HR season.
Now does this mean that Bonds is clean? No. But this is all misleading.

Well, Bonds has already declared that he's used creatine and andro, which, along with his notorious training regimen could certainly account for the increase in muscle mass. I think it's far from a foregone conclusion that he's used banned steroids. BTW, look at the increased head sizes, over the courses of their careers, of earlier generations of baseball greats...
