To quote Spock;
"Fascinating is a word I would use to describe the unexpected. This, I would describe as 'interesting'."

I'll have to show my husband this article. He served on the USS Enterprise in the 60's. Worked on the flight deck. Senator John McCain's squadron was on the Enterprise for a short time. His picture is in one of my husband's cruise books. LT McCain was in Attack Squadron Sixty-Five (VA-65). They came on the Enterprise during a Med cruise.

I was with two college buddies when the "original" Star Trek Enterprise was destroyed in
one of the Star Trek films.
We were catatonic for a few minutes when the old faithful was lost.

I remember that vividly. "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock".
When The Great Lady entered the atmosphere for her final plunge, there was open weeping in the theater.
But not as much as there was for "Star Trek II", at Spock's funeral...

Yeah, I'm impressed with a lot of the work on there. My wife hates Star Trek, but she's into Star Wars & I found her an awesome Millenium Falcon background for her computer.
