I-70 Shutdown (Pork fat spilled on highway)

Indiana State police say the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 may be shut down until this evening near Terre Haute after an accident that spilled thousands of gallons of inedible pork fat.
The pork fat, used in products like cosmetics, has hardened on the road and is creating a greasy mess for cleanup crews.
Crews are expected to spray the highway with a mixture of household detergent and water, in an attempt to break down the fat. Once the fat is broken down, sand will be poured on the road to create traction. Finally, the guard rail on Interstate 70 must be fixed before traffic can resume.
Westbound travelers can take U-S 41 north to U-S 40 to get around the accident.
The truck's driver was taken to the hospital with fractured vertebrae in his neck. He admitted to falling asleep at the wheel.
