For some reason, I had a severe enough potassium deficiency to greatly alarm my doctors (I was clueless about their concerns regarding what that defiency can cause).

Terri was only 26 years old when this happened to her.

I don't know how old you are, but it may be more common in later life. I had an aunt in her 70s with a potassium deficiency, but the doctors knew about it and were treating her for it.
