Thank you for reporting on this interview.

On another note, may I say I do not mind the reportedly wall to wall coverage of the murder of Laci Peterson.I dont get cable, so I hear little of it on the rare instances I watch local TV news.

I would like to point out, that I, and my former husbands family,would have given much to have the media spotlight shined on his murder, and we still pray that the murderess and her known accomplice will be brought to justice.
I do not begrudge the family of Laci Peterson the media exposure that made the prosecution possible.
Having lived through the nightmare of a beloved one's murder, and attempting to force the "law" to do their duty, and having failed at the task, I will never begrudge a family who succeeded.
For every Laci Peterson, a thousand Mike's and Cathy's go uninvestigated and unreported.
This coverage does not reflect/impact on Terri Schiavo at all.
Unless one believes that rage against injustice, and tears of compassion have a finite limit.

I send emails to FOX weekly telling them keeping the story alive helps to keep Terri alive.
They covered 2 important issues. That's good.
The most difficult part in the beginning, was to correct them, and not label Terri as PVS, but a disabled, brain damaged woman

I wondered who was driving that car. Do not know if it was this woman so willing to devastate Terri and her parents that she was willing to stand over the Schindler's when they visited their dtr (MS ordered a monitor to be in the room at all times when the Schindler's were there...can't have Terri receiving any movement therapy, don't cha know.)

For the life of me, this action is one of the things Michael has done that screams out with cruelty and injustice.

THE MISTRESS OVERSEEING the PARENTS of their suffering daughter. JUST UNREAL! The stuff of such dispicable and in your face brutal treatment-towards Terri and her parents, it makes my blood boil. This mistress, I believe whore is the correct term, must have a heart of glass to be willing to place herself in that room while Terri's parents took advantage of the minutes Michael would allow them to visit and love up their daughter that day.

I believe this action alone should be enough for ANY JUDGE, ANYWHERE, to question the actions of MS.

OVERSEEING HIS HELPLESS WIFE???

MONITORING and WATCHING Terri's PARENTS TO MAKE SURE THEY BEHAVE?????

DISPICABLE.

Maybe it is just me, but this just drives me nuts.

I'm glad they covered Terri. And I'm glad they aren't calling her PVS.

But I'm very angry with their lack of real news coverage.

While the fires raged in California, our topics of choice then were: the bomb of a hotel in Iraq, for days.....while fires raged.....Scott Peterson....while fires raged.....Kobe....while fires raged....a brief glimpse of the fires raging, up and down the valleys and forests.....then back to the lone bomb that exploded 72 hours earlier, Peterson, and Kobe....while fires raged.

And the more the fires raged and I heard nothing.....and the more I had to make phone calls to my daughter and to others of my family, to make sure their areas in LA weren't on fire, and to find out if they could breathe properly, the more I became enraged about the non-stop coverage of the lone bomb that exploded in Iraq a week earlier, the rape trial in Colorado, and the murder trial in California.

It's not just you, Republic, it drives me nuts too.

Something that still bothers me is MS starved both his parents to death knowing how both parents felt his starving Terri to death. His father told him, 'Mike, I would just walk away,' and Mike said 'No, I have to do this. MS is evil and creepy!

Actually I have read all of Terri's posts but also all posts about Laci....After this prelim is over which should only be a couple more days this news will go stagnet until trial. I am going to do my best to get some Laci posters over to our site and help us save Terri..Actually I have seen posts on here from Laci people. Maybe a bombardment to Fox news will help get more coverage on Terri after prelim over

Acquired cerebral palsy is a good description of her condition. Cerebral palsy is normally caused at birth by starving the brain of oxygen, but it can also happen at any time, such as with a bad stroke for example.

The one thing that I have learned over these past few years of association with Free Republic is that the amount of emails is almost as important as the content. Shallow as it is, it is the numbers alarmed and informed that motivate people, especially people dealing in the public arena.

I will write and demand an investigation and I will site briefly what is known and point to the Schindler's appearances on NATIONAL NEWS.

I suspect that Michael R. Schiavo only kills when there is money to be put in his pocket! I wonder how much inheritance he gained from the parents. It may have been split five ways. But with Terri, he gets it ALL.

Mr. Schindler looks great and relays that he is feeling "much better! "
Mr. Schindler repeatedly conveyed his appreciation and thanks to all of you who have helped Terri to remain
in the media by your support and letter writing.
It is the time and letter writing that you all have consistantly put forth that has made the difference!
It appears Michael and Felos have their wheels spinning now.
Just what we want them to do!

According to Mr. Schindler, Terri is doing well aside from a small setback that she experienced last week.
Mr. Schindler had gone to visit Terri and found her having some difficulties. It appeared that someone had increased the rate of Terri's tube feeding, resulting in her receiving way too much.
Mr. Schindler found her gurgling. Fortunately, Terri was again rescued by the Good Lord and her loving Dad by his immediate actions to call for urgent nursing assistance.

Despite the fact that " Terri's parents are never given any medical information (in disobedience of a 1996 court order requiring Mr. Schiavo to supply it).
As of last night, 11/16/03 Terri was doing rather well, alert, interactive.
Her color and temp continue to be good and she responds purposefully to the family"

I was referring to the EMT's. I KNOW Michael didn't.

Yeah. They said something like they were now saying that she had "acquired CP." It sounded like a new diagnosis, but I am still trying to get some clarification on that.

I didn't hear him say heart attack -- I listened to it several times, may have missed so will wait to see transcript, but this is what I got from alan's intro, posted http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1023776/posts #24 :

Alan last part of intro: "Terri suffered severe brain damage in 1990 when her heart stopped, cutting off oxygen to her brain. "

Alan seemed to be careful in choice of words; he did not say coma or vegetative state -- said "brain damage" -- good for him.
