All of the above is absolutely true. And this is without even mentioning Chavez' close and tender relationship with the imprisoned Carlos the Jackal, who converted to Islam a few years ago and whose brother is in the Chavez government.
The article was good, because it did offer a few answers to the question of why we are sitting by and doing nothing while Chavez is getting more powerful and more dangerous by the minute.
Bush did the right thing at the time of the coup, and if he had offered a little more support, Chavez would now be a thing of the past. But it seemed as if somebody pulled Bush back at the last minute. Who? And why?
