November 13, 2003: British commandos (Army SAS and Navy SBS) have been reassigned to go after terrorists operating in Baghdad. The British commandos have long experience with this kind work, both in Northern Ireland and in the Persian Gulf. That latter experience, and the presence of many SAS members who can speak Arabic, is expected to help identify and destroy the Baath Party and al Qaeda organizations within Baghdad. In Northern Ireland, SAS operations prevented hundreds of terrorist operations. But you usually don't get credit for the attacks you stopped, and you don't want to talk about it anyway. The SAS infiltrated several terrorist organizations in Northern Ireland and were responsible for the arrest or killing of many key terrorist operatives. In the Persian Gulf, they were invited into several of the smaller Gulf States to help root out terrorist operations. These were successful, but, again, not much publicity was allowed. Part of this may be due to the ruthless methods SAS will sometimes employ. These are the guys who literally have a "license to kill," and special laws were passed in Britain to shield SAS members from prosecution in Britain for any messy missions they may have been involved in overseas. Less than a hundred British troops are involved in the Baghdad operation. Before this, the British troops were working with the task force searching for Iraq's weapons of mass destruction.

I am grateful to be remembered for my past generosity, though I am now unfortunately in no position to respond favorably to even your request for a million dollar cashiers check.
Mr. Anthony is no longer in my service. He said he was bored giving all those millions to worthy people such as you, Mr. Evad, and has instead hooked up with that young scamp, Dick Clark, and joined his Publishers Clearing House Prize Patrol.
So though you might keep looking down you driveway for Mr. Anthony, he will no longer be coming here to Silverstone on his way to find his "next millionaire".
On many occasions I was able to summon Michael Anthony to come to my palatial estate, Silverstone, to receive his next assignment. Unfortunately, his scoundrel of a cousin, Mordred "Tex" Anthony had me mortgage Silverstone and invest in Enron. I am now trying to get handouts from all those very same millionaires that I created, but because I did it anonymously, they think I'm a con man and slam the door in my face.
Now if you would like to send me a small remittance, it might enable me to prime my finacial pump, by flying over to Nigeria to move ahead with a project that I am told, in absolute confidence, should fatten my secret bank account that their Central Bank is holding in my name to the sweet tune of $50 million rolling. Can I count on you?

I'm so with you on that. Send them in there to be as ruthless as possible. I hope they find them all and tear them to little pieces, then burn the pieces.

Perhaps section9's hope of an Iraq version of Project Phoenix is going to be realized.

Yep.....and this means one other thing...if these guys are in the game.....Delta Force is with them. I gotta give our regular army guys a lot of credit. Their job is to kill and break things on a massive scale. They were never prepared for this occupation crap and I'm afraid our leaders may have underestimated that phase of the war.
But, having said that, it looks like they're figuring it out and I hope they start to kick some serious A$$.

I think we are seriousI like it when President Bush says "No more excuses. I want a pacified, democratic Iraq, and I will find the right people to do it."
I'm paraphrasing here, but I'm getting the impression that President Bush had a great decision-making conference yesterday, with Bremmer, Rice, Rumsfeld, etc.
The economy has turned, and so will Iraq.
