Judge Roy More is to be removed from his seat as Justice on the Supreme Court of AlabamaThis action is being taken by the State of Alabama, not the federal government. Judge Moore took the position that his office and oath required him to conduct himself as he did. The State of Alabama is apparently taking a contrary position.
Is there anything wrong with the State of Alabama defining for itself the duties and functions of its own Chief Justice?

Judge Moore took the position that his office and oath required him to conduct himself as he did. Judge Morre conducted himself contrary to his oath. He failed to respect and comply with the law.
