My point isn't so much that talking will win anything, but that it can and has lost conflicts. Had he posted concern and trepidation about their actions rather than "Bring It!", it would have been one step closer to defeat.

However, if talking doesn't win anything, why do we care about the left wing media?

You don't have to choose a defeatist attitude or a bring it on attitude when the targets are civilian, especially if those targets are hundreds of miles away. The sentiment of defiance is right. The moment is wrong.
