This article is terrific. Thanks for posting. So many of the Congressional people that have gone to Iraq have come back with the same type of information and stories.
But who does the media listen to for the most part -- the loudmouthed democRATs who have not set foot over there. Maybe they should get a clue!

Reuters warrants a MOAB up their collective arses. They are shameless. May karma befall them for their support of the terrorists...

Marsha Blackburn is a freshman GOP star from Brentwood, TN outside Nashville. A lot of people have taken notice of her - she's very attractive, articulate, a quick thinker, and in one of the safest seats in the nation. Her district includes Williamson Co. TN, where there are, maybe, 10 Dems in the entire county. A HUGE percentage of musicians and singers you know live there, as well as about half the entire Nashville banking community. Li'l secret - a LOT of former Los Angeles studio musicians have moved there to (1) escape LA's myriad problems and (2) cash in on the huge recording scene here.
As for Ms. Blackburn - you will be seeing a lot of her in the future.

Ah, I see another America-hating, clueless critic nearly reaching orgasm in his/her haste to bash the efforts of our military, with no regard whatsoever for their family & friends on this site. I'm ashamed to share my state with you.

"We are in a race to win over the people. What have you and your element done today to contribute to victory?"I'm going to put several copies of this article on my front counter.
Great read!

I noticed on ABC's Primetime Live from Nashville they implied that Sheryl Crow was moving to Nashville. I wonder if SHE'LL move to Brentwood? She'd be a little out of her element...

We here in Williamson County are REAL proud of Marsha. Before she was elected to congress, she was one of the leaders in the state government working against the income tax. There were bumper stickers saying "Marsha's the man".
There are rumors that she will run for Frist's seat if he retires.

[Yawn] Another one who mindlessly assumes that anyone who criticizes the govt hates America. Who was it that said that before? Oh right, Bill Clinton said that.
Likewise bashing politicians is not the same as bashing the military.

Likewise bashing politicians is not the same as bashing the military. Wrong. I take issue with you criticizing the military, belittling their efforts and accusing them via a Congressional rep of presenting a facade. You're a clueless, whiny little critic who not only mocks while offering no suggestions but publicly supports those killing our troops. Not directly, of course. That would be too obvious. But the result is the same.
And you know it.

Because we know that the politician could not present a facade on her own, don't we?
You are just going to have to face the fact that not every citizen in this country worships King George. We don't believe the bullshit about Iraq being a "central front" in the war on terror.
I am loyal to America and the Constitution--not to the Republican party or any of its members.

"There are rumors that she will run for Frist's seat if he retires." Frist has publicly said that this term will be his last, but things can change - as we all know. Marsha would be a very strong contender for that seat, to be sure. She'd have my vote and my support. By that time, she will have served two terms in Incongruous.

I don't much care what you are. Your idea of "loyalty" is utterly twisted and therefore meaningless to me.
