[history]
November 12, 2003 -- ROBERT DURST'S youngest brother is furious that a Texas jury let his "madman" brother walk out of jail with a smirk on his face - free at last on a murder charge.
So furious, he said he's willing to risk his own life to speak out against Butcher Bob.

I wonder how the jurors are going to feel when this man kills someone else?

An alternate juror said the jurors must have been in another hearing because he's guilty. This decision is so OJ.

I wonder how the jurors are going to feel when this man kills someone else? The idiots would probably aquit him again. A new low in jury intelligence and morality has been established in this case.

This jury must have been out to lunch the whole trial. I heard on Fox News last night that the DA never charged him with cutting up the body and dumping it in Galveston Bay. Both actions are in violation of Texas Law. Judge Napolitano said that Durst could have gotten alot of time behind bars for just those two charges, especially since he admitted to both. I wouldn't expect reelection if I was that DA.

Galveston is mostly black... and the blacks there are very poor and very hostile to police. I would bet that at least one of jurors voted to acquit based on a bias against the DAs.

It's not the juries fault that the Prosecutor did not bring one shred of evidence to refute his story. Texas juries convict on evidence not hysteria. Talk to the prosecutors in NY, that have let him off the hook for killing his wife and another woman.

This jury must have been out to lunch the whole trial. They were literally more concerned with getting their lunches, and whining if the orders were incorrect.
