I think you are right. Then the scrunched-up rug was indeed right there at the most convenient door to the driveway. That, it seems, would indeed be the most likely door for him to drag her body out of.

The schrunched up rug was by the door in the living room next to the fireplace #11. which leads right out to the driveway.
