WHY I'M HERE
Introduction
| Rick Jones
Posted on 11/11/2003 1:34:43 PM PST by rott357
I served in Vietnam in 69-70 with Delta Company, 2nd Platoon, 1st Squad, 4th Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 199th Light Infantry Brigade (REDCATCHERS). I'm 100% disabled since 1994. I enjoy helping other veterans to attain their rightful benefits resulting from the sacrifices they made for their country. My wife Kim is also a veteran who served as an Army medic in Karlsruhe, Germany during Gulf War I. We're a very patriotic couple and appreciate and respect our current administration and especially our military. "God Bless the USA."

Brother, thank you for your service to our Republic and God bless you and your wife for it...and welcome to Free Republic.
This is a great place to learn, to share your comments and feelings, to hone your thoughts and to become active in the continuing defense of our Republic and liberties.
May you and your wife have a wonderful stay and experience here. Ignore the certified horses' rear ends...don't be afriad of positive criticism (giving or receiving) and good luck in your endeavors, particularly where you are helping other disabled vets.
Charlie Mike.

Welcome Home, Brother.
1/1CAV, Americal Division, I Corps, '68-69.
What part of RVN was 199th?
Ever think of returning?
There are more and more of these resorts up and down the coast, making day-trips to old AOs easy.
Chic to be an American, especially in the south. Safe. I think one of the greatest travel destinations in the world.
Everything Good to You and your wife and family.

You know, that is not a bad idea. New Freepers introduce themselves and say why they want to join up. That would be at least as interesting as the opus departees.

Thanks to you both for your service. Welcome to FR. Great to have new posters. Keeps us from getting inbred.

New Freepers introduce themselves and say why they want to join up. That would be at least as interesting as the opus departees. We have a lot of those, too. They often get "zotted." :-)
To: mountainfolk; Senator Pardek
New Freepers introduce themselves and say why they want to join upI say we make them sing "I'm A Little Teapot" in the buff as Pardek made me do.

God bless you, sir. God bless you both.
From myself, my husband, and my two sons, Thank you.
