What a total demagogue, you aspire to be! If you had bothered to read my article, Cult Of The "Holocaust"--Golden Calf Of The Twentieth Century, you would know that it is anything but a mocking. It faces the moral dilemma of what sort of perspective should be put on the past slaughter; what sort of focus on the future of a Faith. It is a serious examination of serious questions, which go to the future both of world Jewry and other targetted peoples--such as the White Southern traditionalists, whom you hate with such a passion--hurling epithets, not unlike those which the Nazis hurled against the Jews. It asks the question, among others, "Will Karl Marx Triumph Over Moses?" That, after all, is also really the question that Alabamans are debating today.

I have not spent hours "defending segregation" nor attacking integration, either. That is what you have tried to make the debate over. But that is not how I have defined it. Whether people live in integrated or segregated communities is in my opinion their business. But that has not been the subject of my posts.

I think if anyone will check out our respective posting over the last 48 hours, they will find that you have spent a lot more time, spewing hatred against the Old South, because they did not agree with your values, than I have spent defending them.

Of course, the point is obvious. Again, America was never intended to be a monolith. There was always room for different peoples to reach different conclusions on how to handle social issues. America at her birth as a Free people, was tolerant enough to embrace people in one State whose forebears in Europe had killed the forebears of the people in another State, over issues that still existed among their descendants, over here. The point was, we understood, as the great Negro educator so succinctly put it--over a Century later, in terms of race relations--in all things which were purely social (or theological or ideological) we could be as separate as the fingers, but one as the hand in our common interest. That is the essence of traditional Americanism, North & South. And you, Sir, do not have a clue as to what it means in practical everyday affairs.
