Democrat moneyman George Soros keeps inserting his foot deeper into his mouth as he ratchets up his monomaniacal quest to defeat President Bush.
"It is the central focus of my life," Soros told the Democrat pressure group MoveOn.org on Monday. The Washington Post quoted him as saying that ending Bush's presidency was for him "a matter of life and death."
Soros told MoveOn.org that Bush administration was reminiscent of Hitler's Third Reich. "When I hear Bush say, 'You're either with us or against us,' it reminds me of the Germans."
In separate comments, Soros told the Post that Bush's foreign policy conjured up memories of Nazi slogans on the walls, such as "Der Feind Hort mit" ("The enemy is listening").
"America, under Bush, is a danger to the world," said the Hungarian émigré, who survived the National Socialists' occupation. "And I'm willing to put my money where my mouth is."
The leftist billionaire has emerged as a key player in next year's presidential election by working with Clinton fund-raiser Harold Ickes to subvert the campaign finance "reform" legislation, which Democrats adored until it became law last year.
Soros has pledged $10 million to the group Americans Coming Together, and Monday he donated $5 million to MoveOn.org. He plans to raise $75 million in a bid to defeat Bush.
Soros also has bankrolled the Democrat think tank Center for American Progress with a $20 million contribution. Last week Sen. Hillary Clinton complained to the group that Bush had subverted the rule of law to attack Iraq and was trying to cover up U.S. battlefield casualties.
Reacting to Soros' comments blaming Bush for anti-Semitism, a White House official told the New York Sun on Tuesday, "That is completely unsupported by the facts and a ridiculous comment."
Others reacted more strongly. James Tisch, chairman of Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, called Soros' outburst "an outrage.

Soros is frustrated and angry. His pawn Wes Clark looks like a bad investment.
Plus Putin is on his tail.

Oh -- I'm sorry, Mr. Soros -- you've mistaken us for a country that cares.

That'll probably be Bush's fault, too.

Whenever the Leftists drag out that tired old "Bush has Nazi ties" sewage, remind them of the father of Ted Kennedy and JFK and RFK.

Sure, they start to lose, they want all laws changed so they can win. Screw the country, it's all about their own power.
NOW who's the facists??

I wouldn't take this too lightly. We have a multi-billionaire who is making it his life's work to defeat Bush. He has given millions and has stated he may be willing to give BILLIONS to this purpose. Picture the DNC with a bottomless warchest to support leftist candidates. Think what other leftist orgs such as gun controllers could do with a $100 million endowment from this liberal kook.

I wouldn't take this too lightly. We have a multi-billionaire who is making it his life's work to defeat Bush. I thought the lefties hated the evil, rich people. Do I smell hypocracy? Why aren't they sharing their wealth with the homeless Democrat base?

Here is another example of the Democrats and their connection with middle America - the party of the working guy....

WSJ had an interesting article on Dem fund-raising. Now with Campaign Finance Reform (thank you John McCain) it is much harder to track money from big donors. Soros and Harold Ickes (refer to 1996 Clinton fund-raising scandal) are now in charge of the operation and raising $75M (Soros) and $50M (Ickes). Not all of it comes from Soros' own pocket -- but a lot does and it's difficult to know the exact amount.

Soros told MoveOn.org that Bush administration was reminiscent of Hitler's Third Reich. "When I hear Bush say, 'You're either with us or against us,' it reminds me of the Germans." Well, I don't recall Germany being under an external threat by millions of people that wanted to destroy it. Germany was the aggressor, Bush is defending his country. Why is it Liberals always draw comparisons that have little to do with the subject at hand or current circumstances? Instead, they draw upon incidents that happened generations ago that have little or no relevance to today, and somehow think there is some sort of equivalence. Well, there's not. This guy just makes himself look stupid and he should shut his cakehole.
