Sending food back to the kitchen can be a risky business
Yep. Anyone who has ever worked in a restaurant kitchen will tell you that sending food back with a complaint is tantamount to taking your life into your own hands. I've heard horribly gross stuff happens pretty frequently if you do that.
An architect once told me he worked as a waiter while going through college. One day a customer complained his steak was too raw. He took it back to the kitchen whereupon the cook grabbed the steak, spat on it, threw it down onto the floor, and stomped on it. He then picked it up, put it on the plate, and told the waiter to take it back. The customer ate it.
I dont ever, ever, ever send my food back.
