Looks like most of those guys are trying to pretend they don't see Clinton and who can blame them?

Civilian clothes make the man, as they say, but the man makes the military uniform.

I had to explain to my Doctor about Bush's education. She said something about him being dumb and I asked if dumb people had MBA's from Harvard and flew fighter planes. She couldn't believe it...See 63.

He didn't miss anything.
Since the jets he was trained to fly were discontinued and he did not have enough time left in service for more training he was given an early out.
Doesn't sound like anything wrong in any way.
But to a dimwit it is awol.

LOLOL....poor whiny loser.
Now I read that Dean will use a picture of President Bush in his flight suit on the ship suggesting he, Dean, would have a better plan!
Oh I can't wait to see our guy in his flight suit again!!! yummy yummy

Terry McAuliff was born in 1958 (he's now 45) and was too young to be eligible to serve in the military during the Viet Nam war. The draft ended before he was 18. McAuliff has never served in the military. He has no moral standing to criticize, much less lie about George W. Bush's military record. Sleaze tactics that will either be ignored or just do more harm to the Democrats. The Bush 'flight suit' photo will be a winner in the '04 campaign and the Democrats just hate that - as Terry McAuliff's comments prove. Tough.

Folks I need some help here, over at this site
Firefly this A.W.O.L. story has popped up and I need some help finding the N.Y. Times story that said they could find no credible evidence of the AWOL charge.
Anyone got a link to the story? My Google search turns up nothing so far but I know I read such at the NY SLIMES.

Exactly and his Form 22 (similar to DD214) says he had 5 years and 28 days. I was in the Army during the same period he was discharged, and the Army was granting early outs I think up to 1 year. This was a period of downsizing and I'm sure they were doing the same thing in the Air Guard.

I believe Mr. McAwful is correct that George W. Bush did not serve in the ALABAMA National Guard. See how ya can slickly create an impression of dishonor without actually LYING. I'm impressed with his skills.
