IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GALLERY SEATING HERE ARE INSTRUCTIONS:
The office of the Sargeant at Arms reports that the Gallery will be open and the doorkeepers will be present. People should enter the North door of the Capitol, through the screening procedure, go to the third floor and proceed to the gallery. Everything should run okay. The Sargeant at Arms is speaking to the police to make sure everything will proceed as described.

Senator Nelson isn't persuadable? I noticed he voted with the majority on judicial debate closure.

GATHER A GROUP OF PEOPLE AND GO TO YOUR SENATORS OFFICE- Tell them you support the filibuster I would think we want to tell them we DO NOT support the filibuster...

let them know anyways. They need every vote.

Thanks for the heads up - I have contacted my e-mail list.
To: diotima
We only need a FRACTION of a FRACTION of Freepers to respond to this, and take 30 seconds out of their busy day to call their senators. If only 1% of the 150,000 Freepers take action, just imagine!
It WILL make a difference!!!
To: victim soul
Someone PLEASE post the 1-800 number for the Capitol switchboard!!! We need the mods to put it in the TITLE of this post, so everyone can quickly and easily drop a voicemail to their senators!

Mr.FR goes to Washington bump.
It's about time these demorat obstructionists got a taste of what we can dish out.

I'm sighing along with you as I'm also in New York. I receive many requests to e-mail my Senators, but never bother with these two.
