Jumped or fell? Or was pushed? Vince Fostered?

No shoes or jacket? Yikes.

Jumped or fell? Or was pushed? Vince Fostered?Maybe he leaked the "demo-memo". Arkancide has not yet been eradicated.

Do jumpers usually take their shoes off?
To: witnesstothefall
were handling the investigation and that the death could possibly be a homicide Did the D.C. police consider Vince Foster's death as a possible homocide when first investigated? ...Why not?

No, not usually, but bathtub suicides do. (Gallows humor)
More seriously, was the Commerce Dept woman's death during Clinton's 2nd term ever resolved one way or the other? Even more seriously, the tv and print outlets are awfully quiet on this, considering there's a dead guy on the street in Foggy Bottom.

Fire Department Spokesman Alan Etter said
State Department sources told The Washington Post that John Kokal (search) worked in a unit that dealt with intelligence and research. Sources said he handled classified documents regularly but was not involved in intelligence analysis.
Getting out in front already. the man, a white male, was wearing a dress shirt, tie and slacks, but was not wearing shoes nor a suit jacket.
Bizarre.

Isn't there something about no shoes and/or pocketful of stones that has symbolism? Masons? Initiation gone bad?

Do jumpers usually take their shoes off? That's what I'm wondering. But would murderers take them off of him first before pushing him?
To: Lijahsbubbe
The article doesn't inform whether the victim's shoes were recovered elsewhere, either. Strange.

That's what I'm wondering. But would murderers take them off of him first before pushing him?Perhaps he was relaxing in his office, with his feet up when a stranger entered the office. I hope the investigation isn't tainted by democrat politics. I'm wondering if there's another memo out there describing how to handle this situation.

Lack of shoes negates pushed IMO. Jumper, Sleep walker with open 8th floor window (remove that office couch now !) ?..Keebler elves maybe ??..nothing more. He probably just figured out that all the sea container stories about smuggling nukes into the country is real.........

Weird story, however it turns out.
It's autumn, what was the temp in DC yesterday? No jacket and no shoes sounds cold, even if you're doing yourself in.
To: Lijahsbubbe
A murderer or group attempting to stage a suicide would do things like take off the shoes. Or tasseled loafers could come off in a struggle while a couple of goons were dragging somebody to the ledge.

The article doesn't inform whether the victim's shoes were recovered elsewhere, either. Strange. This reminds me of the movie 'Three Days of the Condor' where an intelligence worker is murdered and it shows up in the paper the next day as a little blip with no details.
To: ladyjane
No symbolism that I know of. I vaguely recall hearing that some people take their glasses off, so they don't see the full horror of what they are doing to themselves. Maybe he took off his shoes to spring better off the building?
