ound dead yesterday after apparently jumping from the top of the department's headquarters building How do they know he jumped from the top? Evidence on the roof?
We must resolve ourselves to the fact that we will never know what happened or why.
Let the moving on begin.

Who said Bruno, Boom-Boom and Knuckles were geniuses? A trio with cocaine in their car mistake a MacDill AFB gate for a highway toll booth.
TAMPA - Carrying cocaine, drug paraphernalia and $1,000 in cash, the three young men in the 1983 Toyota Tercel thought they were entering the toll booth for the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway.
They tried to blow past it, authorities said, but didn't get far.
It turned out to be the gate to MacDill Air Force Base.
In seconds, they were swarmed by uniformed guards, military vehicles and machine guns.
"They had guards all over it. Machine guns in the windows," said Tampa police Capt. Bob Guidara. "They were surrounded."

State Department sources told The Washington Post that John Kokal (search) worked in a unit that dealt with intelligence and research. Sources said he handled classified documents regularly but was not involved in intelligence analysis.Sounds like hair-splitting to me. Maybe not an analyst per se, but if he works in the Bureau of Intelligence and Research and regularly handles classified documents, he wasn't the copy machine repairman. According to the State Dept.'s personnel directory, Kokal was in the Near East Southeast Asia unit.

Or drifters. There're plenty of those in DC. Drifters don't usually have employment at the State Department handling classified documents.

HAHAHAHAHA! Funniest one-liner on FR today, for sure!!!

Ah yes...the Park Police...the super sleuths who missed Chandra Levy's body in the undergrowth despite an extensive search with dogs...I'm sure this case will be solved with the same incredible level of expertise.

...but was not wearing shoes nor a suit jacket. Bizarre? Maybe. An interrupted tryst and he failed to successfully escape detection and/or the fury of the wife of the other fellow?
A variation on the "Woman in Red" movie with an fatal ending?
To: NotJustAnotherPrettyFace
No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express once.
