(1)... A doctor hired by Michael Schiavo said Terri Schiavo's brain is destroyed and she hears, feels and sees nothing.

(2)`I don't think there are any words to can express the outrage that he feels and the pain in the heart that he feels'' because his wife will now continue to suffer, Felos said.

Well, now, George, I'm confused. Your hired doctor testified that Terri can't hear, feel and see anything. So she cannot experience pain and suffering. Was he lying? Or is it you who's lying now about Terri "continu[ing] to suffer" because you failed to kill her?

I want to make a comment here regarding "disagreeable" people on other Terri threads. Not too many are on this (the daily) thread who are unfamiliar with the case, although we do have a couple of known trolls who pop up occasionally just to be a nuisance, but on the threads that get posted as news items there continues to be a lot of of uninformed individuals who feel the need to share their misinformation or lack of understanding with others. Not all of these people are trolls.

I know I have made this point before, but I think it is important that we not take for granted that FReepers, just by virtue of being on this site, know the facts of this case. Many don't, and it detracts from what we are trying to do if we attack everyone who is diasagreeable or ignorant as being a troll. Granted, there is no shortage of them either, and I think because we are so focused on this issue that it easy for us to lose our perspective in relation to those who are not.

There is a good case in point. If you haven't already seen it, I urge you to read this thread (I know a few of you posted on it), particularly the comments by and to "The Other Harry." Be sure to read them all, and I think you'll understand why I made this post.
