I heard her do an hour-long interview and she never missed a beat. She had obviously poured herself into the research and had the answers at her fingertips. More important, she had a dedication to Terri that no amount of fees could buy. If she was overmatched earlier, she isn't now, as far as I can see.

so far, that's 3 relationships, he said 2.... Under Oath.... "MS has FATHERED TWO (2) Children with another women." as of May 10th, 2001..... Yes, interesting that his word is accepted as gospel truth by Florida Courts, yet he lies about a simple thing such as how many women he's been involved with while he's still married.

Yesterday, the doctors declared a little girl dead that was found in a pool in California. They don't know how long she was in the pool, but she was declared dead at the hospital and approximately 40 minutes later the policeman taken pictures of the little girl for the criminal investigation notice twitching. At first he didn't pay too much attention, then he noticed shallow breathing. Needless to say, there should be some embarrassed doctors at that hospital. Good thing he was taking pictures or she probably would have been undergoing an autopsy. The child is still in critical condition, but they say she is starting to respond.
I'll believe my own eyes and ears. Terri responds, she sees, and tries to vocalize. I don't care if they are just showing the best of a 4 hour video tape, she responds. This is a brain-damaged woman not a brain-dead woman. Michael S. will not allow any other videos made, because it would change more people's minds about Terri's condition.

I want to make a comment here regarding "disagreeable" people on other Terri threads. Not too many are on this (the daily) thread who are unfamiliar with the case, although we do have a couple of known trolls who pop up occasionally just to be a nuisance, but on the threads that get posted as news items there continues to be a lot of of uninformed individuals who feel the need to share their misinformation or lack of understanding with others. Not all of these people are trolls.
I know I have made this point before, but I think it is important that we not take for granted that FReepers, just by virtue of being on this site, know the facts of this case. Many don't, and it detracts from what we are trying to do if we attack everyone who is diasagreeable or ignorant as being a troll. Granted, there is no shortage of them either, and I think because we are so focused on this issue that it easy for us to lose our perspective in relation to those who are not.
There is a good case in point. If you haven't already seen it, I urge you to read this thread (I know a few of you posted on it), particularly the comments by and to "The Other Harry." Be sure to read them all, and I think you'll understand why I made this post.

Clearwater, Florida, neurologist Dr. William Hammesfahr testified that Terri shows cognitive function, can respond to her parents and follow commands, the Times reported. When the videotape of Hammesfahr's examination showed Terri's eyes moving when she was given a command, he commented, "A person in a coma does not do that."
Hammesfahr said that a new procedure that increases blood flow and oxygen to the brain could help Terri. "You can get major improvements from patients who have been plateaued for a very long time," he told ABC Action News.
Dr. William Maxfield, a Tampa radiologist, agreed that Terri is not in a persistent vegetative state, noting her ability to follow commands and her responsiveness, according to the AP. After comparing Terri's 1996 CAT scan to her 2002 scan, Maxfield also testified that Terri's brain tissue appeared more localized and uniform.
"It tells me that the brain tissue on the [2002] study has a more normal appearance," Maxfield testified, adding that hyperbaric oxygen therapy, similar to Hammesfahr's recommendation, could lead to improvement, the AP reported.

Interesting.
1. If she isn't alive and can't feel anything, how would she be suffering
AND
2. When they were starving Terri for 6 days, why did they keep her doped up with morphine if is was painless?
This is the time that people are actually paying attention to Felos and Schiavo opening their mouths. If Schiavo's parents were both starved to death like they say, then you KNOW they had morphine.
Poor Terri didn't even have the benefit of a morphine I.V. drip. They just gave her shots regularly.

"Omigawsh, I got paid $380,000 to snuff her and blew it. This isn't going to look good on my resume!" ROTFL!
Ya know, Mo, the more I watch this guy (Schiavo) in action, the more I wonder about his Philly "connections." LOL!

I think she was originally out of her league, but with the help of other more experienced attorneys, I think she has improved enormously. I agree; it's really tough being a really good lawyer, I mean that sincerely. I admire those such who not only understand the law and have the talent to argue common sense and credible points, but are also able to construct persuasive arguments against flawed reasoning (I am thinking most especially of those such as Justice Scalia, attorney Ted Olsen, and Barry Richard (attorney for Bush in Gore's attempted coup d'tat in Florida), not those such as David Boise and Felos and their ilk, who use lies, perjury, and misrepresent facts to get rulings in their favor.

Yes, I've noticed that at times, the proceedings have a faintly Sicilian ring, especially the Hospice and insurance businesses.

there may be some untoward investment schemes in play as well. I have no doubt something has gone on with Terri's funds that are, if not outright illegal, unethical, as pertains both to an attorney and a guardian ad litem.

"[If I was the suspicious type, I'd say Felos provided that to MSNBC TODAY to refute yesterday's claims on FNC that Michael won't let her go outside in a wheelchair]" Freepers are by nature suspicious inquisitive. That's why we like it here. We need to start demanding dates with these charades for the cameras.

I agree with you in theory. I just want to add though that I think it is important to make sure we are aware of the source, because I fear not all trolls are designed to do the same job. I have said this a bunch of times and some have agreed with me, I suspect there are some trolls on this site who are working for the Ms team and I fear they are a bit more dangerous here than the average nay sayer and /or, devil's advocate. Two of the posters I suspect as being trolls early on have been banned. I think I am on the right track. One of the posters I suspected was a troll , had indded disrupted a very helpful e-mail loop set up for Terri's supporters, to the point it had to be shut off for awhile.
We may actually be playing right into their hands, all the while we think we are helping Terri. Trolls may take time to present themselves as advocates for Terri and gain our trust and then lead us down a path that they control. They have already established this a an MO in other places on the web.
I blieve this is the motivation for some of the trolls. Othersposters on this site ,and other sites who have experience with the same trolls we are having problmes right now , agree, we need to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing.
I think it is important, for those of us who are following this story daily, to share what info we have with established freepers who may not be able to follow the entire thread and pick up on some of the subtle errors and misdeeds of these "MS" Trolls. We could at least point out a suspicion and let them decide for themselves ,before they get involved with leg work or phone work for the said "suspected" troll, and / or encourage a bunch of other peopel to do the same.
We know they are here. Think it is far fetched? If any of you were MS and Felos , wouldn't you be too?

Terri's brain scans indicate that her cerebral cortex no longer exists and has been replaced with spinal fluid. The Schlinder's neuological experts agreed with this. Here are a couple of quotes from the Schindler's experts...

What are you basing your statements on? If it is court records please show where these doctors said different than what is quoted above.

We have all wondered about "insurance," for Michael R. Schiavo seems to have a knack for collecting such kinds of funds, doesn't he? Schiavo told Larry King that he would "nothing" from Terri's starvation/dehyration, which he is eager to resume ASAP. But who could believe what Schiavo says? He may even be able to collect on some kind of fund that is NOT technically "insurance," in lines with liberal parsing of the language.

sweetliberty, have you seen this lawsuit against that hospice, Florida Suncoast?
FLUFFY CAZALAS Individually, and on Behalf of All Others Similarly Situated, CLASS ACTION COMPLAINT, Plaintiffs, v. HOSPICE SYSTEMS, INC. Case No. d/b/a SUNCOAST SOLUTIONS, a Florida- for-profit corporation, THE HOSPICE OF Division: THE FLORIDA SUNCOAST, INC., a not-for-profit Florida corporation and THE HOSPICE FOUNDATION OF THE FLORIDA SUNCOAST, INC., a Florida not-for-profit corporation, Defendants.
And then there's this site talking about its wrongdoings: Hospice Patients Alliance Reporting Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, which is affiliated with Jay Wolfson ("who works for the University of Southern Florida which has a direct connection to the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast").
See this link wherein someone has done a lot of research regarding him, Hospice Florida Suncoast, and other information about this case, here Life Ribbon:
"Not only are they both on all of the same organizational lists, but the University of South Florida website AND the Hospice's website actually give information on 'continuing professional education' to be held November 6th by the University of South Florida's Center for Hospice, Palliative Care and End-of-Life Studies --- guess where it is being held????????? You got it! The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast!"
