For the record, Robin Williams did not write that whole thing. It is believed widely that he did, but it has been debunked. He only wrote the last line:
"The Statue of Liberty is no longer saying 'Give me your poor, your tired, your huddled masses.' She's got a baseball bat and she's yelling, 'You want a piece of me?'"
And his name citing that one line became understood as his having written the whole thing.
By my understanding, Robin Williams is actually an anti-war liberal. I could be wrong in that, but I don't think so.

Williams from a comedy act at a May 24, 2000 DNCs "Tribute to President Clinton:"
"Were here tonight because of the Shrub, you know who Im talking about. George W. Bush, Jr. The W stands for where the Hell is it? You know, you look at George W. and you realize some men are born great, some achieve greatness, and some get it as a graduation gift. So sad. I just want to ask the Secret Service, is it true that his Secret Service code name is Gilligan?"
Yeah, Mork is a pile.
